Having discovered an ardent love of and fascination with design and architecture, I decided on a second career in real estate after 20 years as an award-winning executive in advertising, public relations and marketing. This background delivers great value for my clients. Implementing a comprehensive marketing plan to expose your house to buyers through as many channels as possible and understanding the competitive environment is key. Similarly, buying a home demands a studied market analysis and understanding of what your family needs and desires.
With my husband, an architect himself, we have purchased, sold, and renovated numerous properties-from downtown to suburbs, condos to multi-families-over the last 25 years. I am well-versed in buying a new home that will increase in value or taking into consideration the struggles of downsizing. Clients welcome my great eye for design in their visioning and staging their home as well as my practicality.
A lifelong Massachusetts area resident, I have intimate knowledge of most cities and towns.
I graduated from Wesleyan University and went on for my Masters degrees in Art History and then Business. Outside of work, I am the mother of two grown sons; a member of 128 Women of Influence; Women in the Enterprise of Science and Technology; and the Massachusetts Cultural Council; as well as a volunteer at the Weston Council on Aging. I have co-authored three books, am passionate about trend watching, travel, gardening, and an avid art collector.
I am a licensed member of the Greater Boston Association of Realtorsâ (GBAR), the National Association of Realtorsâ (NAR) and Massachusetts Listing Service (MLS).
